iShares DJ Euro STOXX Value aims to track the Dow Jones EURO STOXX® Large Cap Value Index and offers exposure to approximately 50 companies which are adjudged to exhibit a below average price to earnings ratio. Such a ratio tends to indicate an undervalued stock, which will often return a higher than average dividend yield. Set up in advance of the launch of the Euro currency, the index universe covers stocks from the Eurozone countries. The benchmark is a market capitalisation index and full details of the index methodology can be found on stoxx.com. iShares DJ Euro STOXX Value is an exchange traded fund (ETF) managed by BlackRock and is listed on the London Stock Exchange. That means you can buy shares in iShares DJ Euro STOXX Value through a broker as you would buy any ordinary share.

PLEASE NOTE: As of March 1st 2010 all “Dow Jones STOXX” indices were renamed as “STOXX” indices.  

Subject to regulatory approval and notice requirements, the index names and corresponding iShares fund names will be updated accordingly 

Aside from the names, there will be no other changes to the indices, or the iShares funds tracking them.
